AUTHOR GUIDELINES

1. Templates & Forms To ensure a fast and efficient review process, manuscripts must be prepared according to the journal's strict formatting requirements.

2. Editorial & Peer Review Process

  • Initial Screening: All submissions are first assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of the journal and minimum quality standards. Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria or lack proper structure (title, standalone abstract) may be rejected at this stage without review.

  • Peer Review: Submissions considered a good fit are sent for a double-anonymous peer review process. This means the identities of the authors are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa.

3. Ethical Requirements & Permissions Before making a submission, authors must ensure the following:

  • Permissions: Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any third-party material included in the submission, such as photos, documents, or datasets.

  • Authorship: All individuals identified as authors must have consented to being listed.

  • Ethics Approval: Where appropriate (especially for studies involving human or animal subjects), research must be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

4. Preparation Checklist Before submitting, please ensure that:

  • The study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly.

  • The title is concise and descriptive.

  • The abstract is self-contained and summarizes the research effectively.

Submission Preparation Checklist

1. Originality & Exclusivity The submission has not been previously published, nor is it currently before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).

2. File Format The submission file is in *Microsoft Word (*.doc, .docx) format.

3. Formatting & Template The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines. The text is single-spaced; uses a 11-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.

4. Blind Review The authors have removed their names and affiliations from the main manuscript file to ensure a double-anonymous review.

5. References All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness. Where available, URLs or DOIs for the references have been provided.

6. Permissions & Ethics Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets, and other material provided with this submission. The study has received appropriate ethical approval where necessary.

7. Plagiarism Policy I confirm that this work is original. I understand that Aintelia® Science Notes Journal strictly prohibits plagiarism and that my manuscript must have a similarity rate of ≤ 20% to be considered for review.
