Archiving Policy
1. Digital Preservation Policy Aintelia® Science Notes Journal (ASNJ) is committed to the long-term preservation of its content. To ensure that all published articles remain accessible to the scientific community indefinitely, regardless of any potential future changes to the journal's status, we utilize the following infrastructure:
-
PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN): The journal utilizes the PKP PN to digitally preserve all published articles.
-
LOCKSS System: We utilize the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries, permitting them to create permanent archives of the journal for preservation and restoration.
2. Persistent Identifiers (DOI) ASNJ ensures the long-term findability and accessibility of its content by assigning a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) to each published article.
-
The journal actively deposits metadata and full-text articles to OpenAIRE / Zenodo, ensuring that every article is trackable, citable, and permanently accessible via a stable DOI.
3. Author Self-Archiving Policy This journal permits and encourages authors to post items submitted to the journal on personal websites or institutional repositories both prior to and after publication, while providing bibliographic details that credit the publication in this journal.
Authors are allowed to archive:
-
Pre-print: The version of the paper before peer review.
-
Post-print: The version of the paper after peer review, with revisions having been made.
-
Publisher's Version/PDF: The final published version (since the journal is Open Access under CC BY-NC 4.0).
